Area Sales Manager
Role Overview
This role is responsible for managing and growing an established optometry-focused pharmaceutical business across the North of England. Working primarily with optometrists, you will take ownership of key accounts and drive performance across a defined portfolio, applying a structured, relationship-led approach to sales.
The role focuses on delivering consistent sales results by building trusted partnerships, clearly communicating product value, and supporting customers across the product lifecycle. You will be accountable for territory performance while operating within a compliant, patient-focused pharmaceutical environment.

Role Requirements
Achieve agreed sales targets.
Develop strong relationships with key customers in both the NHS and the Independent sector by maintaining a full understanding their needs and their environment in each Key Account.
Develop a business plan for the area to manage all as aspects of the business.
Manage identified Key accounts in the territory to maximise growth of products in existing Accounts and win new business for new accounts.
Person Specifications
Previous experience in optometry-focused pharmaceutical sales.
ABPI qualification is required.
Based in Leeds or the surrounding areas.
