Area Sales Manager
Role Overview
This Area Sales Manager role is responsible for managing and growing an established optometry-focused pharmaceutical portfolio across the North of England. You will take full ownership of your territory, driving performance through structured account planning and credible engagement with optometrists.
Operating within a culture centred on clinical integrity, long-term partnerships, and sustainable growth, you will support customers across the product lifecycle, including launch and pre-launch activity. The focus is on delivering measurable territory results while maintaining a compliant, patient-focused approach.

Role Requirements
Manage and grow an established optometry-focused territory across the North of England.
Build trusted, long-term partnerships with optometrists and key decision-makers.
Communicate clear product value and differentiation within a compliant framework.
Drive consistent territory performance across launch, pre-launch, and in-market products.
Take accountability for territory planning, forecasting, and target delivery.
Support customers throughout the product lifecycle to maintain sustained adoption.
Person Specifications
Previous experience in optometry-focused pharmaceutical sales.
ABPI qualification is required.
Based in Leeds or surrounding areas.
Commercially driven and relationship-focused, with experience managing complex sales cycles.
