This exciting role is based with their UK affiliate, who provide top-tier ophthalmic products to ophthalmologists, nursing staff, pharmacists, and optometrists.
Our client specialises in a wide range of eye health solutions, including Dry Eye, Blepharitis, Eye Nutritionals, Surgical, and Prescription products, all aimed at improving and maintaining eye health. Role Requirements
· Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders to ensure business success.
· Set, monitor, and report on sales targets, forecasts, and strategic business plans.
· Drive business growth through targeted proposals, product selection expansion, and competitor analysis.
· Build and nurture relationships with KOLs and influencers through regular visits and communication.
· Manage and grow large accounts profitably, including bespoke marketing plans and promotional activities.
· Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, ASM) to ensure effective support and meet account needs.
· Organize and lead quarterly business review meetings to assess progress and identify opportunities.
· Proactively resolve customer queries, track orders, and ensure timely, effective service.
· Negotiate contracts and explore new business opportunities to foster growth and expand market presence.
· Stay updated on industry trends, sales data, and market conditions to inform strategy.
· Maintain brand consistency and ensure high customer satisfaction, supporting new product launches and attending industry events.
Person Specifications
· Required experience in a related field.
· Essential experience in account management.
· Proven track record of sales achievements.
· Strong ability to analyse and leverage data effectively.
· Demonstrated success in negotiations with buyers.
· Capable of influencing and leading others without direct management responsibility.
· Customer-focused with exceptional attention to detail.
· Able to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with all business levels, both verbally and in writing, while maintaining professionalism.
· Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and adept at prioritizing tasks in a sales and relationship management environment.
· High technical proficiency, including expertise in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
· Proactive “can-do” attitude suited to a fast-paced, growing company.
· Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload independently, taking full ownership and accountability for results.
Package
· Salary £45-60K (depending upon experience)
· Hours – 37.5 per week
· Holidays: 25 days per annum + statutory BH
· Option to buy back extra 5 days holiday which must be paid for and taken in August
· Bonus – Can expect to earn 15-20% of salary depending on individual sales performance
· Company car (BMW 3 series, Peugeot 508 or equivalent on our car list) or car allowance £550 per month
· Company Pension Scheme (up to 5% matched by company), minimum contributions by employee 4% under auto-enrolment rules

· Death in service (x 3 salary)
