Commercial Product Manager Automation - EMEA
Role Overview
The Commercial Product Manager will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of automation products across EMEA, from market analysis and go-to-market strategy to new product introductions and ongoing commercial support. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with regional sales, marketing, service teams, and global stakeholders to ensure product success and market penetration.

A global leader in the life sciences sector is seeking a talented Commercial Product Manager (Automation) EMEA to join their dynamic marketing team – 12 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to shape product strategy, drive market success, and play a key role in the development and execution of commercial plans across the EMEA region.
Role Requirements
– Lead the end-to-end management of product lifecycles, including launches, market growth, and discontinuations.
– Develop and execute effective Go-to-Market strategies aligned with business objectives.
– Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and business reporting to inform decision-making.
– Define clear value propositions and support the creation of targeted marketing campaigns.
– Collaborate with business development, sales, service, and training teams to ensure successful product adoption.
– Own and manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) process across EMEA, including pre-launch preparation, training, and performance monitoring.
– Deliver impactful sales enablement tools such as presentations, competitive insights, and sales guides.
– Represent the organisation at key industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings across the region.
Person Specifications
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, or a science-business combination.
– Significant commercial experience in product management, marketing, or sales within the life sciences or related industry.
– Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in a matrix environment.
– Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and project management skills.
– Excellent communication and presentation abilities with fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
– Competency in interpreting scientific/technical data and translating insights into commercial strategies.
– Willingness to travel up to 35% within the EMEA region.
