Country Manager
Role Overview
To strengthen our European Sales Team, we are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Country Manager (Sales) to oversee the Belgium region. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding sales, identifying market opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service and support across your territory.
You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external customers, acting as a brand ambassador and expert on PHC’s product portfolio.

Role Requirements
Manage sales and after-sales service for PHC Europe products within Belgium
Identify market trends, turnover, and competitor activity; act on new business opportunities
Develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and action plans in consultation with the Export Manager
Independently plan and carry out customer visits and promotional activities
Maintain and expand relationships with end-users and attend relevant exhibitions and seminars
Deliver presentations and product training to customers and stakeholders
Provide regular reports, maintain CRM records, and attend sales meetings
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and brand visibility initiatives
Stay updated through ongoing product and industry training
First-Year Objectives:
Gain strong knowledge of the Belgian market
Build and maintain customer relationships
Demonstrate proactive territory management
Deliver structured reporting and organisation
Person Specifications
Essential Skills & Experience:
Higher professional education in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field
Proven sales experience in a relevant technical/commercial environment
Strong commercial acumen and customer-focused mindset
Confident communicator with excellent networking and presentation skills
Well-organised with the ability to prioritise and work independently
Energetic, resilient, and results-driven
Fluent in French and Dutch (native level), with strong English proficiency
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Desirable:
Technical knowledge of biomedical or analytical products
Existing network in the life sciences sector within Belgium
