Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
Regional Field Service Engineer position covering London, the South East, Thames Valley and surrounding Home Counties.
Working on a range of Life Science instrumentation including Flow Cytometry systems, Cell Analysis platforms, Imaging systems, Chromatography equipment, Multiplex Analysers and other laboratory technologies.
Supporting customers across pharmaceutical, biotech, research, academic and healthcare laboratories.

Role Requirements
• Planned preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repair of laboratory instrumentation
• Installation, commissioning and validation of new equipment
• Fault-finding across electrical, mechanical and software systems
• Providing technical support to laboratory and healthcare customers
• Maintaining high levels of equipment uptime and customer satisfaction
• Producing accurate service documentation and reports
• Managing spare parts and service activities across the region
• Building strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted technical specialist
Person Specifications
• Previous Field Service Engineer experience within Life Sciences, Laboratory Equipment, Diagnostics or Medical Devices preferred
• Engineers from military or other technical field service backgrounds with strong fault-finding skills will also be considered
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently across a regional territory
• Flexible, organised and professional approach
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability
• Full UK Driving Licence

• £44,000 – £48,000 basic salary
• 7% annual bonus
