Role Requirements

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Product Management to lead our innovative product team and facilitate the strategic vision and execution of our product portfolio. As the Head of Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products, enhancing customer experiences, and contributing to growth and success.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role requires significant experience in building and delivering product management processes with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision:
1. Facilitate definition and communication of a compelling product vision and strategy for all products, services and our platform aligned with the company’s overall goals and market trends.
2. Lead the development of a comprehensive product and service roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements to deliver exceptional value to customers.
3. Continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to refine and evolve the product strategy.
Team Leadership and Management:
4. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Product Development and Execution:
5. Oversee the end-to-end product commercial lifecycle, from concept to launch, while ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
6. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other departments to deliver successful product releases.
7. Make data-driven decisions, leveraging analytics and user insights to optimize product features and drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication:
8. Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, providing regular updates on product strategy, milestones, and performance.
9. Effectively communicate product updates, successes, and challenges to internal teams, external partners, and customers.
Customer-Centric Focus:
10. Champion a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and pain points to inform product decisions and enhancements.
11. Foster a customer-first mentality within the product team, ensuring that user feedback is consistently integrated into product iterations.
Innovation and Market Awareness:
12. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
13. Identify new market opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore potential product expansions or new offerings.

Person Specifications

Key Attributes Required:
People Skills: demonstrable experience of leading a product management team and working as part of a cross-functional senior management team with excellent inter-personal skills.
Customer Service / External Impact: demonstrable experience of understanding customer and market trends, with the ability to translate these into requirements for product development.
Decision-Making: the individual will lead complex decision making across multiple stakeholders and take responsibility for outcomes.
” Initiative and Independence: the individual should be able to identify, implement and manage product development processes to meet the needs for clients, stakeholders and leadership

Knowledge and Specialist Skills:
1. Education – bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
2. Experience – minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Head of Product Management role ideally within the healthcare, pharma or diagnostic industry Candidates with strong data or SaaS platform and or precision medicine experience is highly valued.
3. Experience working within a data vendor to pharma would be preferable
4. Computer and software Knowledge and Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, skilled user of Excel and PowerPoint.
