Inside Sales Representative
Role Overview
Your primary role will be to support their field-based colleagues to protect existing business and to drive new sales across the whole of the region. For this role you will be supporting 3 Account Managers based in Switzerland.
Customer contact will be mainly via email and telephone requiring a confident telephone manner. There may be requirement to operate in the field to support the wider sales team activities as required such as at exhibitions.

We are supporting our client with the search for an Inside Sales Representative to join the team. We are looking for a German speaker to be based 4-5 days a week in their Cambridge office.
Role Requirements
· Assisting in the management of opportunity pipelines from initial enquiries to close of business
· Manage in-bound sales enquiries
· Helping their team to convert inbound enquires
· Serve as a direct link between the field sales team and the other office-based teams
· Take part in sales team campaigns
· Ensure all customer contacts, opportunities and other activities are logged into the CRM system
· Engage with all supplier and internal training courses
Person Specifications
· A life sciences degree with some practical laboratory experience
· A strong interest in pursuing a career in life science sales
· Enthusiasm to learn new skills including sales techniques
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Excellent communication skills: via telephone, email, and video calls
· High level of self-motivation
· Ability to plan, co-ordinate and implement activities effectively
