Marketing and Website Assistant
Role Overview
This is an opportunity to take ownership of brand, marketing, and communications within a growing scientific business. Initially, the role will focus on core marketing delivery, lead generation, and campaign execution, with a clear progression toward full ownership of marketing strategy, positioning, and lifecycle planning.
Working closely with the Senior Sales Manager and wider cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in strengthening market presence, translating technical capabilities into clear value propositions, and supporting commercial objectives through structured, insight-led marketing activity.

Role Requirements
Maintain and strengthen the company’s brand image, developing clear, evidence-based messaging and consistent tone of voice across all channels.
Create and deliver structured marketing campaigns, supporting lead generation with a focus on measurable outcomes.
Develop technical content including case studies, articles, press releases, presentations, and broader marketing collateral.
Manage and optimise digital channels, including the company website, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and collaborate with external agencies on SEO and performance.
Produce visual and creative assets, including graphics, brochures, guides, logos, and video content.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure all marketing activity aligns with commercial objectives, compliance, and quality standards, while supporting events and tradeshows.
Person Specifications
Degree not essential.
Proactive, confident, and able to communicate effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders.
Graphic design capability (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
Understanding of SEO principles.
Strong copywriting and editing skills.
Google Analytics.
Accountable, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
Motivated to improve how marketing supports product and commercial strategy.
Commercially aware, with a results-driven mindset.
Package
Hybrid – typically 1-2 days from home, flexibility for 2-3.
40 hours per week (flexible start times available).
25 days annual leave + birthday off + 2 wellbeing days.
5% pension contribution.
Optional healthcare scheme.
9-day fortnight (post-probation – every other Friday off).
