Role Overview

You will install, service, and support ophthalmic imaging systems across the UK and internationally, ensuring fast response, technical excellence, and full compliance.

Working with a global manufacturer, they deliver cutting-edge technology, expert service, and tailored training to NHS trusts, screening programmes, and private clinics. Known for their agility and strong customer-first approach, they help healthcare providers deliver accurate, high-quality eye care.

Role Requirements

Service, repair, install, and support ophthalmic/medical imaging equipment across the UK and internationally.
Deliver high-quality technical support, including hardware/software troubleshooting (DICOM, PACS, HL7).
Perform routine maintenance, breakdown response, and user training.
Maintain accurate service logs in line with ISO 13485:2016.
Ensure same-day email responses and 100% breakdown response rate.
Update internal/external ticketing systems in real time.
Support logistics, exhibitions, and training events as needed.
Adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.

Person Specifications

Strong experience with medical imaging systems (ophthalmic preferred).
Proven IT skills: networking, Microsoft SQL, system integration.
Ability to work weekends and travel nationally/internationally.
Excellent problem-solving, time management, and independence.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
Must attend manufacturer training.
Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 and medical device standards.
