Territory Manager

Dental Insurance
Midlands
£45,000 - £60,000

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a commercially driven Territory Manager to join a growing dental-focused sales team. This is a field-based role with full ownership of your territory, focused on building relationships with dental practices and supporting them in selecting appropriate indemnity cover.

You will work directly with dentists and practice managers, combining consultative selling with a strong understanding of practice needs. The role offers autonomy in how you manage your territory, with responsibility for developing new business, maintaining relationships, and contributing to sustained growth across your region.

Company Information

Our client has grown from a standing start eight years ago to become one of the largest providers of dental indemnity insurance in the UK, supporting nearly 3,000 individual dentists. The business combines specialist insurance expertise with in-house clinical negligence lawyers and a network of practising dentists with legal qualifications, ensuring clients are supported with both technical and clinical insight.

The culture is close-knit, practical, and relationship-focused, with a strong emphasis on supporting dental professionals in their day-to-day practice. Investment in proprietary systems and client-facing technology reflects a commitment to improving how dentists manage risk and access support. The sales team operates with a high degree of autonomy, working collaboratively while taking ownership of their individual territories.

Role Requirements

Take full responsibility for your assigned territory, managing day-to-day sales activity and building relationships with dental practices, labs, and groups.
Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and consistent follow-up of leads.
Meet with dentists and practice managers to present dental indemnity solutions in a clear, structured, and practice-relevant way.
Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows, including occasional out-of-hours commitments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system, ensuring all activity and client interactions are tracked.
Manage your own schedule effectively, balancing client meetings, follow-ups, and pipeline development while working towards individual and team sales targets.
