Role Overview

This is an opportunity to join the Sales Team at a leading Material Processing and Energy Research organisation.
You will seek out new business opportunities while also nurturing and adding value to our existing customer base.

We are working with a leading company within the Material Processing and Energy research space with cutting-edge equipment. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic team and drive growth in this rapidly evolving sector.

With 30 years of industry experience and a trusted international reputation – they service customers from academia to industry.

Role Requirements

– Exceeding revenue targets and driving sales
– Identifying and targeting potential customers
– Understand customers’ unique goals and provide them with tailored solutions
– Delivering Exceptional Customer Service
– Representing the company at conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and exclusive industry gatherings.
– Collaborating with our international manufacturing partners

Person Specifications

· 2+ years of B2B sales experience in a technical or scientific field
· A minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related field.
· A genuine interest in energy and material science, with a desire to contribute to groundbreaking discoveries
· A self-motivated mindset
· Interested in staying up-to-date with the latest technological trends
· Regular travel to meet clients and attend events is a key part of this role, so time away from home should be expected.
