We are working with an international leading supplier of pH and dissolved oxygen sensors for life science applications who are looking for a European Service & Project Engineer to join their team in the UK.
Role Requirements
This is an expanding role within the company, with opportunities to grow with this sector of the business.
It will involve on-site activities such as commissioning, preventative maintenance, repairs and customer training, as well as in-house pre-delivery testing and repairs in our workshop.
There will also be involvement in new projects and applications including service quotations and on-site support.
Field and office-based in Silsoe, with requirement to visit customer sites in the UK, Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe where they have multiple installations.
In-house pre-delivery testing of PendoTECH TFF and NFF filter testing systems, Flownamics sampling systems and associated system components.
Project planning and organisation of PendoTECH TFF and NFF systems orders to ensure the correct parts have been ordered and are supplied to customers.
Installation, preventative maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, repair and operator training on the company’s BioNet bioreactor vessels and control system, Distek
Benchtop Bioreactor Systems, Flownamics sampling systems, Pendotech TFF and NFFS filtration systems and associated system components such as pH and DO sensors, pumps and weigh scales etc.
Person Specifications
The successful candidate will need to be willing to travel extensively with up to 50% of time spent visiting customers in the UK, Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe.
When not away, the candidate will provide on-site support at the head office in Silsoe, Bedfordshire.
The successful candidate must have prior Field Service Engineering experience.
Previously experience working within laboratory/scientific environments is essential.
Looking for someone flexible, independent and pragmatic, you would be able to work alone with minimal supervision.
