Really great people (shoutout to Mark, Holly and Libby!) who care about what exact role you're looking for. They take the time to help with interview prep and follow-up with the companies you've applied for on how you did in the interviews which is really useful. I've used quite a few different recruitment agencies but these guys were much more efficient, organised and offered a wide range of positions of interest with some well-known organisations. Whilst I ultimately didn't take a role that Mark found for me, my incredibly positive experience with him tells an important story about his approach and relationships... First things first he immediately understood the type of roles I was interested in and had a clear appreciation of my background, what it offered any potential employer, and importantly for me, where I might thrive. Through the entire recruiting process he was second to none at keeping me up to date on any feedback, while sharing his POV given his knowledge of the clients, and he was excellent at keeping momentum going. When an offer came through he was very straightforward with the salary negotiations and was very good at giving context and framing realistic expectations. But perhaps the most impressive part of my dealing with Mark came when I didn't then take the role. He was very open to understanding why, did not try and 'sell' the role further, but listened to my personal situation and helped communicate this to the employer so as to ensure that I came across well to them and not as a time-waster. So, all in, he was consistently on the ball but more than that, he showed huge understanding and empathy throughout. If I was ever to return to the UK and be looking for a role... he'd be top of the phone list.
